Movies make me cry…
…they always have.
At heart, I am a storyteller. I believe that one of the greatest gifts you can give to someone is a beautiful story. I spent my childhood in bookstores and art-house cinemas, ingesting story after story until all those yarns found their way around my heart and became part of me. Now, I tell stories myself, and I can hardly think of a story more worth telling than the lives of two people falling in love.
I believe that within all creation, but especially within human beings, there is a reflection of God that we could see if we only had the right perspective. It is my aim to offer that perspective - to take our everyday lives, our memories, our tragedies, our mountain top moments and find the divine heart in them. If your eyes don’t light up in wonder when you watch your wedding video, if you don’t swear that you could be floating, if you are not moved, then I have failed.
